Help, I have swollen, red, painfull nippel/ and I am not a mother.?

over the past week my right nippel started off very dry and ithcy but as the week went on my nippel became very sore and swollen. it is very hot to touch and hard and now my whole is sore and my nippel is 2-3 times bigger than my other one. please help me i am so worried but embred to go to doctors. i have read that this can happen to mothers that feed as thier milk ducts get blocked but I am not a mother. plkease help me
