Help with Skateboarding?

I've been skateboarding for a little while now, but I'm just now learning how to do tricks. When you're doing an ollie, is it easier to start off stationary, or moving? If you hae any other tips on how to do the ollie, PLEASE help me!!!!!!!!!!!
